Assistant Principal
Dr. Chasity Green
Dr. Chasity C. Green serves as the Assistant Principal at Greensboro High School. Dr. Green has a passion for fostering academic excellence and student development. She brings over 20 years of experience in education, having previously worked as a Biology Professor, Biology and Chemistry Teacher, Instructional Coach and Principal. In her current role, Dr. Green plays a pivotal part in supporting the principal of Greensboro High School in the day-to-day operations of the school, working closely with teachers, staff, and families to create a safe, supportive, and high-achieving environment.
Dr. Green is dedicated to implementing innovative strategies that promote both academic success and personal growth for all students. With a deep commitment to equity and inclusivity, she works to ensure that every student’s voice is heard and their potential is maximized.
Dr. Green holds an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership: Curriculum and Instruction, a Master’s degree in Biology: Genetics, and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. In addition to her administrative responsibilities, Dr. Green is also an advocate for social-emotional learning and STEM education. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her family and reading.
